Approach

Flying isn’t about checking a box—it’s about mastering a skill that becomes part of who you are. I have a syllabus that works exceptionally well. Sometimes it needs a tweak to fit the way you learn best, but it keeps us on track, reinforces strengths, and addresses areas that need extra attention—all while keeping you engaged and motivated.

I train aviators, not just pilots. You’ll train with modern tools—like the iPad for electronic flight planning and situational awareness—while mastering the timeless fundamentals of aviation. Technology is valuable, but when it fails, true aviators rely on skill and command.

I specialize in accelerated training. Frequent flights keep every skill fresh, move you toward your license or rating faster, and eliminate wasted time and money.

The result? Less stress. More progress. A deeper connection to aviation.

This is flight training for achievers who value their time, demand efficiency, and want an experience as rewarding as the goal itself.

Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Insights

Every flight begins with a tailored pre-flight briefing, outlining exactly what we’ll accomplish that day. After landing, we conduct a focused post-flight review to highlight successes, address areas for improvement, and set clear objectives for the next lesson. This approach ensures every minute in the air is purposeful, efficient, and accelerates your growth as a confident aviator.

Master a language like no other—the language of aviation—and unlock the thrill, freedom, and confidence that comes with commanding the skies.

I use a proven Interactive online syllabus to keep our training on track, monitor your progress, and highlight areas that need extra attention. You’ll have access to it at all times, providing real-time feedback and clear guidance on what to focus on before your next flight. A well-designed syllabus is more than a checklist—it’s a roadmap for success, ensuring every lesson builds your skills efficiently and effectively. With this structured approach, you have a clear path to becoming a confident, capable aviator.

Based on my training syllabus, you can expect approximately 18 flights—typically over 3½ to 4 weeks—to reach the solo phase. I intentionally schedule some cross-country experience before your solo, because as a pilot, most flights take you to airports away from your departure point—not just back to where you started. This ensures that when the moment arrives, you step into the cockpit with confidence, fully prepared, and with the skills to handle any situation.

This approach isn’t just about meeting requirements—it’s about ensuring you fly as a capable, self-assured aviator. After all, learning to fly can unlock a world of opportunity—allowing you to reach exciting destinations, avoid traffic, save time, and fly with the confidence to handle nearly any situation that may arise.

Invest in You!

Plane rental typically runs $155–$175 per hour, with most lessons lasting 1.5–2 hours. Instructor time is $85 per hour, bringing most lessons to roughly $325–$450.

This is an investment in you, your skills, and your future as a competent aviator. While the FAA minimum for a Private license is 40 hours, most students complete their training around 75 hours. Every hour brings you closer to mastery, independence, and the freedom of flight.
